The Quicksilver Hampton Court Half 2019 will be directly raising money for associated charities, although many runners also fundraise personally for charities of their choice.

Princess Alice Hospice has been providing free, high quality specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people with life threatening illnesses for over 30 years. Our compassionate support, comfort and advice help families, carers and friends during their loved one’s illness and through the process of grief and loss.  We deliver our care across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex.

Living with life limiting illness is hard on everyone. We support carers and family members in the home, in the community and in the hospice. We help people of all ages, including children, through individual, family and group activities.  We’ve made it our mission to reach even more people with the expert end of life care everyone deserve – last year it costs £9.5 million to provide this care and 74% of this comes from fundraising.  We are very excited to be part of the Hampton Court Half Marathon 2019, a wonderful event that takes place in the heart of our care area.

Each runner will receive a fundraising pack, running vest and enthusiastic support on route from the Princess Alice Hospice Cheer Station.

Kingston Hospital Charity is committed to supporting Kingston Hospital as it strives to deliver an outstanding level of care across all its services, for the benefit of patients and their families.

Charitable donations help provide a quality of care beyond that which NHS funding alone can afford by: purchasing equipment for better diagnosis and treatment; developing the most patient friendly amenities and environments; funding patient comforts; supporting clinical research; and enhancing staff training and providing for their development and wellbeing more generally.

Please join  #Team KHC, raise over £70 and receive one of our running vests.
